At Box and Tank, we are committed to delivering high-quality intermodal shipping containers and ensuring customer satisfaction. Due to the size, nature, and logistics involved in our products, our refund and return policy is structured to be fair, transparent, and efficient.


1. Order Cancellation

Before Dispatch: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the container has not yet been assigned or scheduled for delivery.

After Dispatch Scheduling: Once your order has entered the handling or dispatch phase, cancellations may be subject to administrative and logistics fees.


2. Returns Policy

Due to the heavy-duty and customized logistics of shipping containers, returns are generally not accepted once delivery has been successfully completed.

However, exceptions may be considered under the following conditions:

  • The container delivered is significantly different from the agreed specifications
  • The unit has major structural defects not disclosed prior to delivery

All return requests must be reviewed and approved before any action is taken.


3. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are required to inspect the container at the time of delivery.

Please ensure you:

  • Carefully check the condition of the container
  • Note any visible damage or issues on the Bill of Lading (BOL)
  • Take clear photos as evidence

Failure to report issues at the time of delivery may affect eligibility for refunds or claims.


4. Damaged or Defective Units

If your container arrives with damage caused during transit:

  • Document the issue on the Bill of Lading (BOL)
  • Capture photographic evidence
  • Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery

After verification, we may offer:

  • Partial refund
  • Repair support
  • Replacement (subject to availability)

5. Refund Processing

Once a refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days
  • The amount will be credited via the original payment method

Please note:

  • Shipping and handling charges may be non-refundable
  • Any applicable fees will be deducted from the refund amount

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Incorrect site preparation or denied delivery access
  • Customer unavailability at the time of delivery
  • Minor cosmetic wear consistent with used shipping containers
  • Change of mind after dispatch

7. Order Modifications

Changes to orders (size, type, or delivery details) must be requested within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, modifications may not be possible or may incur additional charges.


8. Policy Updates

Box and Tank reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Returns Policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on boxandtank.com.
